Replacement of old TRBI ATM Debit Cards

TRBI will REPLACE all TRBI ATM Debits with EMV-enabled cards with no charge beginning April 2017. This move is in compliance with Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) Circular 859 mandating banks to shift to EuroPay, MasterCard & Vis (EMV).

ATM Debit Card Cardholders can get their replacement card from their branch of account. For identified payroll accounts, the replacement process will be arranged by branches with the respective employer/companies.

Clients will receive an SMS notification once their EMV-enabled ATM Debit Cards are available for pick-up on their respective branch of account.

TRBI ATM Debit Cards can now be used in United States of America and Canada through NYCE ATMs and POS terminals. NYCE is the primary network of 301,500 ATMs with a customer base of 89 million users in the US and Canada.

Also, our ATMs can now accept China Union Pay (CUP)International Card and MegaLink for ATM withdrawal transactions.


TRBI is now an accredited collection agent of Social Security System. Your SSS contributions and loan payments will becredited directly to SSS.


ATM Advisory: System Upgrade

Beware of Phishing Scams

What is Phishing?

Phishing is a method of sending out legitimate-looking websites, emails, text message or phone calls to gather personal or financial information. The person behind these unethical action is known as Cybercriminals or Fraudsters.

How to spot a Phishing Email or Text Message?

  • Requests for specific personal information. TRBI will never ask you to send us your information such as ATM Card number, Account Number, PIN number, Email Address and Password, Complete Address, Contact Number and the like.
  • Urgent actions and appeals. Phishing email may claim your account may be closed if you fail to verify or authenticate your personal information.
  • Suspicious Email Address. Always check the Sender's email address. This may be the same as Tiaong Rural Bank's corporate email address but these are meant to fool you. Official TRBI email always comes from an "" email address.
  • Impersonal greetings. Fraudsters sends several email scams at one time. Beware of an email send with greeting such as "Dear Customer", "Dear Valued Customer", "Dear Client" or "Dear Member".
  • Obvious typographical errors. Read the email carefully as it may contain typos. spelling or grammatical errors.
  • Links to fake bank website. A fraud email may contain a link to authenticate or login to your account. Always check the URL (Uniform Resource Locator) or website link. The website design and content may be similar to TRBI's but it may have different website link.
  • Email includes attachments. Beware of these attachments. These might contain viruses, trojan horses, malwares or keystroke logger which may infect your computer and steal your details. A keystroke logger usually records everything you type.
  • Offers Rewards & Job Offers. We never ask personal information or click a link in exchange of discounts, perks or freebies. All TRBI promos and rewards are posted in our website and social network sites.

  • Similar website design, content and links but does have a strange URL (Uniform Resource Locator) or website link.
